Court Liaison
Work with local state and federal courts, invite judges to attend meetings, develop panel for meeting,
Education/CLE
Fulfills the mission to defend the Constitution and the laws of the country and the state of Georgia. Develops programs for CLE credit. Reviews new cases and statutes and informs members of changes in the law.
Finance
Develop Budget, Policies regarding sponsorships, obtain sponsors, provide Budget Reports, perform audits.
Membership
Increase and maintain membership, engage members at events, encourages completion of directory information, and recruit members to volunteer for committees
Programming
Develop programs for monthly membership meetings, point of contact for location, make decisions regarding price, food service, and facilities for meetings, act as facilities liaison during meeting, collect fees at meetings.
Publicity
Maintain website, update social media posts, take photos, upload photos to website, develop policies about posting to website and social media, and send newsletters.
Service Committee
Develop volunteer opportunities, recruit members for Mock Trial, MBLC, Law Day
Social Committee
Plan holiday party, BBQ, March Madness, and coordinate social events within community
