Biography
Judge J. Jessy Lall has served as a Judge for about 17 years and is now one of the newly appointed Judge pro hac for the Fulton County State and Superior Courts, in addition to having been a Magistrate Judge for 18 years. Judge Lall is also a mediator/arbitrator with the BAY Mediation and Arbitration Services LLC - Atlanta, in addition to her role as a Sr. Legal Recruiter with the number one firm- The RMN Agency.
As a mediator, Jessy brings a wealth of judicial and litigation knowledge and experiences to facilitate the mediation process for a successful outcome for the parties. Working as a Judge in the Fulton County high volume courts, Jessy has is no stranger to presiding over numerous civil and criminal trials including but not limited to tort, contract, employment, landlord/tenant, garnishment cases as well as criminal matters. Her prior litigation practice also enables her to appreciate and address a case from the differing views.
These attributes serve her well to counsel and recruit for the RMN Agency. Jessy’s experience and connections provide the guidance to strategically develop highly motivated attorneys in their career paths. Jessy enjoys working with attorneys and partners who are seeking to find that fit that benefits all concerned.
Jessy was the first Indian woman appointed to the bench in the State of Georgia. She has also served on the Executive Board of the Georgia Council of Magistrate Court Judges and the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association (GAPABA). She continues to be active in professional groups including the Magistrates Training Council, the Lawyers Club, the Atlanta Bar Association, the South Asian Bar Association, the State Bar's Mock Trial competitions and the the North Fulton Bar Association.
