Biography

I graduated from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School in May 2012 and sat for the Georgia Bar Exam in July 2012. I have worked in Criminal Defense since January of 2005 where I started off as a legal assistant for a solo practitioner's firm in Roswell, Georgia. I worked my way up to the case manager/firm administrator position pretty quickly.

During law school I continued to work part time and branched out with several attorneys in the Atlanta area. I assisted on several trials with individuals facing charges of armed robbery to murder. I also actively participated in academic extra-curricular activities such as the student government association and as President of the Criminal Law Society. I am also extremely proud of my work as a Peer Mentor and as head of the Peer Mentor Organization, mentoring incoming first year law students.

In August 2012, I began my work with a small firm in Roswell, GA and was hired as an associate after passing the Georgia Bar Exam. Since being sworn in on October 30, 2012, by the Honorable Judge James G. Bodiford of Cobb County Superior Court, I have focused my career on defending individuals facing DUI, misdemeanor, and felony criminal charges.

After acting as Managing Partner for 2 and a half years at the same firm that hired me out of law school, I founded Chehimi Law, LLC on June 1, 2017 and everyday I get to do what I love most: helping others in the most trying time of their life.
